CHAPTER 2: ADVANCED TECHNIQUES AND NH SCIENCE!
when you nh you might encounter that one player that is soo pro that everytime u attack him his prayer is switched before u even clicked on him. what do u do now? ur fucked! unless you perform a fakie!
wtf is a fakie u say?
a fakie is the most epic and easiest trick you can do in a nh fight, here is an example
notice how the enemy is getting triggered out because he doesnt know whether im going to use magic or ranged l0l. if you use this, you wont even need to be pro and you will make even the best nhers struggle.
to perform a fakie just randomly switch ur gear like 2-3 times then attack.
Is your enemy a pussy safer or is his skills to pro for fakies? then you have no choice but to use the concealed weapon attack!
this attack is so over power and it is virtually impossible to avoid.
here is an example of the concealed weapon attack!
to perform this trick you must pot at the perfect time just before its ur turn to attack and switch ur weapon while the drinking animation is taking effect. then you attack.
IMPORTANT: THIS TRICK WILL ONLY WORK IF USING POTS, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE PRAYER POTS OR SUPER RESTORES FOR CONCEALED WEAPON ATTACK!
with these 2 epic tricks you will be tearing ass!
these tricks are very effective since they make ur opponent forced to guess which attack you will do because the human brain is not fast enough to switch pray from fakies.
However they can still be avoided for example if in a nh fight ur opponent performs the concealed weapon attack you can automatically assume he is specing you because he drank the pot and you can put up protect melee. to prevent this you can drink a pot and not spec and infact use a different attack taht way your oponent will never know what to expect. you can also add a twist of confusion by wearing mage armor and pot then spec! ur opponent will never expect you to spec while in mage armor!! its genius!
another epic trick that can be used is the SPRINT SWITCH
holy shit this trick makes people triggered, it is a very very easy but very effective trick to use in a nh battle
all you got to do is run around the map every time u attack and while u are running u just switch weapons and armor and attack again over and over again.
my last trick and one of my most favorites, i call this one THE PANIC SWITCH
the panic switch is a sub category of the fakie! all you gotta do is equip ur spec weapon and turn on turmoil and run towards ur enemy, 99.9% of the time ur enemy will protect melee to save his ass from the ninja turtle spec. Then you just switch to range or magic and attack him l0l its a epic troll and it is a sure fire way to get a hit on your oponent. i call this panic switch because ur enemy gets scared lol
EPIC HINT: do this many times in a nh fight and ur enemy will never know when ur gonna spec!
NH SCIENCE:
this part of the guide will be talking about perfecting your gear switches and equipment to bring in certain situations.
In NH there are no rules and you can do whatever you want, and you must understand that in different pvp environments you will need different gear and a different setup.
for example, when i go to revenants I wear slightly tankier armor because there is a chance i can get multi pked at revs or my enemy will have a summoning familiar and i will need to take his hits.
If i am having a 1v1 fight in edgevill I will most likely remove the tankier armor and replace it with attack armor that will increase my attack bonuses and increase my chance of getting a ko.
Another big factor can be your opponents gear for example dragon bolts (e) has a higher max hit then onyx bolts (e). however, if your opponent uses a Dragonfire shield or dragon kite shield then it will absorb the Dragonfire effect. so it will be better to use onyx bolts (e) in this situation.
If your opponent uses the toxic staff of the dead special ability to remove melee damage then you may want to replace ur melee boots with range or magic boots and focus more on mage and range bonus and bring korasi's sword instead of claws or ags because melee will be useless against the effects of toxic staff of the dead.
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
standing on top of a hill or mountain can increase ur range of view and you can use that to ur advantage in a nh fight by freezing ur opponent and running far away on top of a hill where ur enemy can't see ur switches or prayers ur using but u can see them.
freezing your enemy behind a tree is useful because u can attack ur enemy and run behind the tree so he can't attack u, if u quickly attack and run back it will be almost impossible for ur enemy to attack u.
if you are at a multi-pk zone you can stand on top of NPC's and ur enemy might hit them by accident with ice barrage and now u the npc will attack ur enemy, this will be very useful for u if you are at revs and you managed to get your opponent to attack a revenant dark beast!
